Shop Small Saturday was started by American Express several years ago to encourage shoppers to make purchases at locally-owned businesses during the start of the holiday shopping season. Rochester Main Street participates as a Neighborhood Champion to help support our local businesses and encourage them to take advantage of this national movement. On Shop Small Saturday, it is expected that nearly $5 billion in purchases will be made at locally owned businesses.

2024 Cookie Crawl & Raffle Drawing!

From 11 am - 3 pm, participating businesses will be passing out cookies and highlighting all the great services, products and food they have available to make shopping & preparing for your holidays easy! Check out our Facebook Event page and let us know your going to come, this important so our business owners know how many people to expect! 
Then at 3pm we will be drawing the winner of the 2023 Shop Small Saturday Raffle. With a grand prize of $2,000 in Raffle tickets to the downtown businesses of your choice, someone is going to have a great start to their 2023 Holiday Season! You still have time to purchase your tickets! 

Thanks to our Friends at Profile Bank! Santa will be joining us from 11 - 3, strolling around the stores sampling cookies & getting your vote for who has the best cookies! He will be awarding someone an award for the best cookie! Who will be given the Golden Wooden Spoon Award?
