In addition to the sponsorship cost you must provide a prize with a suggested value of $25 -$50 for the challenge (higher values are accepted). Your logo will appear on the Challenge Plaque, and your sponsorship / challenge will be shared on social media throughout the challenge. Sponsoring a challenge does not mean the cutout will be located at your business

Most cutouts are placed in public locations throughout downtown

Challenges may encourage people to explore downtown, but they will not require purchases or limit participation to specific businesses

History Of Bigfoot In Downtown

August 2022 Bigfoot is spotted downtown & the scavenger hunt is born!
July 2023 the number of Bigfoots has increased, and they can be found everywhere downtown.
July 2024 Bigfoot families are now spotted throughout the downtown! The Families love it here!
What will 2025 bring? Rumor is Bigfoot is bringing friends with him this year?

Bigfoot Scavenger Photo Challenge

Rochester Main Street is happy to be welcomes children of all ages and families to participate in the most unusual scavenger hunt in Rochester's history... Our volunteers will hide cutouts throughout the downtown area, all within a safe walking distance from one another. It's fun for the whole family! Starting In June

Bigfoot Scavenger Hunt – Join the Fun and Win Prizes!
This summer, the Bigfoot family and their mysterious friends have returned to Downtown Rochester—and they’ve brought some challenges with them!
Explore downtown to find a series of whimsical cutouts featuring Bigfoot, Mrs. Bigfoot, Little Bigfoot, the Grey Alien, and more. Each cutout includes a unique challenge for you to complete.
Here’s how to participate:

1. Locate a cutout.
2. Complete the challenge listed.
3. Snap a photo or record a video of yourself completing it (These pictures & videos maybe shared on social media now and used by us in the future)
4. Email your submission to Include your name and contact information: [email protected]
5. Do as many as you want each challenge is its own entry, we hope you do all of them, but it isn't required. 

Each successfully completed challenge earns you one free entry into our raffle! Prizes include:

• A $25 gift card to a downtown business of your choice
• A “Warning: Bigfoot Area” sign
• And other fun surprises!

Get outside, have some fun, and support downtown while you’re at it!

Collec-tiques	Make a video of you sharing an impersonation of your favorite movie / tv quote. Example "I Pity The Fool" in your best Mr. T Voice
Maple Street School	Make a video of you dancing with Bigfoot! Show us your best dance moves!
Beside Fire Department	Make a video of you doing a " Get low and go"
Profile Bank	Make a video of you doing your best impersonation of a Bigfoot Call.
Governor's Inn	Take a video of you singing a song for bigfoot! Sing it loud and sing it proud!
Hanson Street	Take a picture of you wearing your favorite beach attire with Bigfoot! Bonus points if it is Hawaiian as Bigfoot has always wanted to visit Hawaii!
Bigfoot Art Exhibit (located in window)	Using the QR Code in the window, join our email list. Bonus point if you like and follow us on Facebook & Instagram!
Rochester Commons	Take a video of you playing a game with Bigfoot. Frisbee, Baseball, soccer, what ever!
Wyandotte Walkway	Take a Picture eating at the table with bigfoot. Extra point if it is food, you bought downtown!
Moes back entrance	Take a picture of you adding a sticker to Bigfoot. The sticker must be family friendly but make them wild!
Riverwalk (Behind Citizens Bank)	Share a video of you telling Bigfoot a joke. Keep them family friendly!
Police Department	Use ink found in plastic case and put your fingerprint on Bigfoot.
Central Square	Write a positive message on Bigfoot with the chalk provided
Postal Center	Get a picture of you dropping off a letter to bigfoot at the postal center! Tell him your favorite part of downtown, write him a story about an adventure you had with Bigfoot.
Rochester Library	Take a picture with a book you have just completed reading. You can complete this challenge multiple times!
Smitten Yarn	Make a video letting us know who you think Bigfoot should invite to join him on vacation next year?
Gnomes & Mushrooms	This one is a bit different. Email us with a picture of you with at least 6 gnomes or Mushrooms!  They are hidden around, and we aren't telling you where they are!
