The public is invited to view this exhibit from New England native artist Anita Muise during May. May 3-20 -- Happy Days: A New Musical @ Rochester Opera House Based on the hit Paramount Pictures television series, Happy Days, A New Musical reintroduces one of America's best loved families, the Cunninghams — yes, Howard, Marion and Joanie are here too — to a whole new generation of kids and parents. May 15, 6:00-8:00pm -- Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Paint Night @ RiverStones Custom Framing Make a masterpiece you can take home, while networking with great people! Event fee of $25 covers all materials, including paint and canvas. May 16, 6:00-7:30pm -- RMS Design Committee meeting @ RiverStones Custom Framing This is Main Street's committee focusing on the look & feel of downtown. Meetings are the 3rd Weds of each month at RiverStones. These are open to the public. May 16, 7:00pm -- Photographers Reception for photo contest@ First United Methodist Church The amateur photography contest concludes with the Photographers Reception where winners are announced and prizes awarded. Refreshments and entertainment. Judges on hand to discuss the work. May 16 - June 17 -- Photography Show @ First United Methodist Church Art from the amateur photography contest is on display. May 19, 6:30pm -- The Grange Program Night @ The Grange #86 The Grange Program Night is the 3rd Saturday of each month and is open to the public. Refreshments provided at 6:30pm; program at 7:30pm. This month focuses on Agriculture/ Permaculture with Amy Antonucci. May 19, 7:30-10:00am -- Blueberry pancake Breakfast @ First Church Congregational This fundraiser event offers pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, orange juice, coffee/tea/milk/water for $6. Ages 5-10 are half price, and under 5 are free. Veterans are also half price. May 23, 6:00-8:00pm -- RMS Board of Directors meeting @ Chamber of Commerce conference room This is Main Street's guiding Board of Directors. Meetings are the 4th Weds of each month. These are open to the public with advance request. May 24, 9:00-10:00am -- RMS Free Business Development Workshop @ City Hall Annex This FREE workshop is hosted by Main Street and facilitated by well-respected Warren Daniel of the Small Business Development Center in New Hampshire. May 24, 6:00-7:30pm -- RMS Promotions Committee meeting @ The Garage at Governor's Inn This is Main Street's committee focusing on downtown events and activities. Meetings are the 1st Thurs of each month at varying downtown restaurants. Specific locations are posted in advance. These are open to the public. May 24, 7:00pm -- Huck Finn's High Tailin' Adventures w/ Homeschool Theatre Guild @ Rochester Opera House Also on May 25, 10:00am & 7:00pm and on May 26, 2:00pm This Homeschool Theatre Guild production, directed by Margaret Murray, features over 30 homeschoolers from the seacoast region of New Hampshire. The Guild continues its tradition of bringing gems of literature to the stage, delighting its audiences and celebrating the classics. June 2, 8:00pm -- AC/DC Tribute Band 'Dirty Deeds’ @ Rochester Opera House This high-energy and wildly entertaining show from AC/DC cover band Dirty Deeds delivers the on stage antics and legendary theatrics of AC/DC, one of the world’s best rock and roll bands. June 5, 9:00am -- Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament @ Rochester Country Club Join the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce at their 44th Annual Golf Tournament for a great day of golf in a scramble format! The tournament includes contests, greens fees, cart, continental breakfast items, boxed lunch, clambake dinner, contests, goody bag and many raffle prizes! The evening will feature a great dinner, awards ceremony, auction, great raffle prizes including a golf getaway!
