Kids Summer Series – Vendor Information
Rochester Main Street welcomes local businesses, makers, and organizations to participate as vendors in our Kids Summer Series. This family-friendly event series includes five themed events held on select Saturdays throughout the summer in downtown Rochester.
Vendors play an important role in creating a fun, engaging atmosphere for families while also supporting Rochester Main Street’s ongoing downtown programming and fundraising efforts.

Vendor Participation Options & Fees
Vendors may choose to participate in a single event or the full series.
Vendor participation options include:
• $25 per event for individual event participation
• $100 total for participation in all five events (paid upfront)
• Non-profit organizations may participate at no cost
Space is limited and vendor participation is subject to approval.

Raffle / Auction Item Donation
In addition to the vendor participation fee, vendors are asked to provide a raffle or auction item to support Rochester Main Street’s future fundraising efforts. Donated items will be used at a later date as part of raffles, auctions, or other fundraising activities that help support downtown programs and events.
Raffle or auction items may include products, gift cards, services, or experiences provided by your business or organization.
Items should be provided on the day of the event. If an event is canceled, vendors will not be expected to provide a raffle or auction item.

Vendor Space & Setup Information
Each vendor will be provided with space equivalent to one 8-foot table.
Please note:
• Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, and setup materials
• Rochester Main Street does not provide tables, chairs, tents, or electricity
• Tent space is not guaranteed and will depend on event layout and available space
• Vendors should plan to operate without a tent unless otherwise notified

Event Location & Weather Considerations
The Kids Summer Series is planned as an outdoor event. In the event of rain or inclement weather, Rochester Main Street will make every reasonable effort to move the event indoors when possible.
If an event is moved indoors, available vendor space may be limited and layouts may change. Indoor space may not accommodate all vendors or tents, and table space may be reduced.
Vendor participation fees are non-refundable due to weather.

Vendor Rules & Expectations
All vendors must adhere to the following guidelines:
• Displays, products, and activities must be family-friendly
• Vendors must remain within their assigned space
• Vendors are responsible for setting up and removing all materials
• Vendors may not distribute materials or operate outside their assigned space without prior approval
• Vendors must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
Rochester Main Street reserves the right to remove any vendor who does not comply with these expectations.

Vendors interested in participating must complete the Kids Summer Series Vendor Application.
The application includes: • vendor contact information • event selection • raffle or auction item description • acknowledgment of vendor rules and weather considerations Please be aware as this is a small event, we will try to make sure there isn't significant overlap between vendors. So please provide a full list of what you sell and wait for your approval before paying. |
