The Design Committee advances the appearance and functionality of downtown by preserving historic character, improving streetscapes, and enhancing public spaces. Working with property owners and community partners, the committee coordinates practical upgrades—such as façade improvements, lighting, landscaping, wayfinding, and seasonal décor—to create a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and businesses.
