Our organization is a volunteer one with over 200 volunteers giving their time to make Rochester a destination and source of pride. Our full-time executive director is Charles A. Noon III (Chip). His professional life has been spent mostly in marketing and public relations, but has spanned a variety of industries from manufacturing to teaching. He is a Vietnam Veteran who earned a Bronze Star as an officer in Military Intelligence. He is married with two children, two step-children, and one grandson. He has been a singer since he was in high school, having performed in venues from the Rochester Opera House to Carnegie Hall. Our administrative assistant is Krysteen Hopkins. She previously worked for Paulsbo, Washington in their Main Street program. She is a violinist who also teaches the instrument to children, as does her mother. She also works for the Small Business Development Program across the hall from the Main Street office.
The Rochester Main Street office is located at 18 South Main Street on the 2nd floor. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We are often out and about, so please call first if you'd like to visit. |
